Karthika (Radha’s daughter) debut with Josh

Yesteryear successful actress Radha is a very happy lady at the moment, since her charming daughter Karthika is all set to make her debut in the glam-world with Kollywood flick Josh, which incidentally also marks the debut of Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya.

Radha had the luck to act opposite Chaitanya’s grandfather Nageswara Rao in couple of films as well with his dad Nagarjuna and now hopes that her daughter’s future too rocks in the tinsel town.

The film is directed by Vasu Varma with Dil Raju of Sri Venkateswara Creations producing the film. After a lot of dates concerning the film’s release were delayed, the movie is now all set to hit the screens on the 12th of August.

We wish Karthika all the very best for her debut film and wish she has a long lasting and successful career ahead like her mum Radha.

Nagchaithanya woos Karthika in Bangalore

Like father like son, Nagarjuna and Nag Chainthanya have been making headlines one day or the other. Brushing aside the speculations of Nag’s ‘King’, Nag Chainthanya is now on. He’s debuting as a hero along with whom Karthika, daughter of Radha debuts as a heroine into Tollywood. Vasu Varma is directing this movie that is being produced by ‘Dil’ Raju on his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The movie launch witnessed the attendance of all the members of Akkineni family.

The movie’s shooting schedule started from the 18th of this month. Nag Chainthanya hails from the popular akkineni family while Karthika is no short of fame as her mother and yesteryear actress Radha is the star heroine of 80’s, who played opposite stars like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Krishna, ShobanBabu, Krishnam Raju, Nageswara Rao.

The first schedule was previously planned to be canned in a college located in Agra. However, due to security reasons in the wake of terror attacks, the makers failed to obtain the necessary clearance beforehand. As a substitution, it was started in a college on 18th of this month in Bangalore.

This learning has led them to take appropriate and advance actions for shooting in Amritsar. The buzz is that major part of the film will be shot in Amritsar for which the second schedule of shooting will start on 19th January.
